This is a full-time, permanent teaching role open to both experienced teachers and confident ECTs with a passion for science education.

You’ll deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially KS5 depending on your specialism, in a school that supports both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on expertise
  • Create and deliver lessons that inspire critical thinking and engagement
  • Use data effectively to monitor and support pupil progress
  • Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Engage in continuous professional development and school initiatives
  • Support the school’s inclusive and positive ethos

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
  • ECTs welcome with structured support available
  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum awareness
  • A commitment to student progress and inclusive learning
  • Effective classroom management and clear communication skills
