Job Description

Do you have a passion for enterprise, economics, and education? a forward-thinking school in Redbridge, is looking for a Business Studies Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This is a permanent position ideal for a teacher who can bring real-world insight into the classroom, helping students to connect theory with practice. You'll teach engaging and relevant lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, preparing students for exams and life beyond school with a solid foundation in business and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Business Studies lessons at KS4 and KS5
  • Plan engaging, practical lessons based on current business trends
  • Support students to develop analytical thinking and real-world application
  • Monitor and assess progress to help each student achieve their goals
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, resource sharing, and enrichment
  • Take part in school-wide activities, including clubs or enterprise events
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation, and mutual respect

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level
  • Knowledge of exam specifications and current business themes
  • Excellent classroom and time management skills
  • Ability to inspire and support diverse learners
  • ECTs welcome with mentoring support available
  • A commitment to inclusive education and student success
