Are you ready to prepare students for the digital world? A School in Clacton is looking for a dynamic ICT and Computing Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that develop students’ confidence with technology, critical thinking, and problem-solving through computing. Whether you're covering digital literacy, programming, or IT systems, you'll play a key part in a well-resourced department that's passionate about innovation and student progress.
The school values hands-on learning, creativity, and the integration of real-world tech applications into the curriculum. ECTs and experienced teachers are equally welcome and supported through tailored CPD and collaborative planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach ICT and Computing across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, relevant, and future-focused lessons
- Develop students' understanding of digital systems, coding, and online safety
- Track pupil progress and provide regular feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Support enrichment opportunities, such as coding clubs or tech competitions
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Computing and ICT in a secondary school
- Knowledge of programming languages and contemporary digital tools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- ECTs welcome – full support and induction provided
- A passion for preparing students for the digital future
